About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to connect with what's around me
ABOUT ME
ok, so: i'm easy-going and easily entertained...doesn't take much. i like being rowdy but i'm also a home-body, depending on my mood. (ok, i'm moody, dammit). i enjoy coffee shops, dirty bars, good people without pretenses, and spontaneity. um, and i'm a dork.
PHILOSOPHY
whitman's Leaves of Grass is my credo. acceptance. non-attachment. expect nothing, be ready for anything. i don't worry about much. and i'm really beginning to understand that life is about connecting...with everything around you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i sleep on friend's couches all the time, does that count? in st pete, orlando, gainesville, kissimmee, ocala, south carolina, and new orleans. i like couches.
and i finally have some CS experiences! drove to austin and dallas just because i'd never been to texas; met some amazing people who renewed my faith in humanity. and yeah, slept on their couches.
Interests
i love plants and flowers, veggies and gardening! i tried learning the violin but have recently moved on to DRUMS! (woo! bang bang a drum!) i'm into fitness and nutrition, i love art: including but not limited to photography, painting, poetry, classic novels, museums, antiques etc. love history and the stories that comprise it. love music, philosophy, strong coffee, and books. i crochet and can make a bad ass blanket or beer hive (that's a coozie with a cool name).

I read a lot of biographies: Edward Bok, Ben Franklin, Hillary Clinton, and on and on. Philosophy, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, the Dalai Lama. Gregory Maquire's Wicked and Mirror, Mirror were awesome. yeah...i'm always reading something...and taking suggestions.
