ABOUT ME

Hi there, I'm Jos. I am a daydreamer. I have a black sense of humor. I am social, optimistic, adventurous and a bit chaotic. I`m always laughing. Half of the day i`m humming a random song (did I mention i`m a bit weird at times?). I love meet new people; so when will we meet?

* Things I like besides traveling:

- People watching. What's a better way to spend your day then watching random people while sitting on a terrace with a glass of beer?

- Cooking. Finding and cooking a new recipe makes me think I`m in heaven

- Party games. The more stupid the better! Just a hilarious way to spend the evening with some friends. And ofcourse best when played with a lot, and I really mean a lot of alcohol.

- Daydreaming / randomly browsing my Atlas. Almost as good as traveling. I don't get tanned, but atleast I got plenty of leg space this way :)

- Culture. From art house films to architecture and from literature to modern paintings. Just the absolute beauty of it makes me clear my mind

*Things i don't like:

- Balloons. The sound of it when you rub your hands against it makes me (wanna) run away

- Clowns. Not just because they look scarry as hell, but mainly becasue they fold animals out of balloons! Eww that sound again!!! ^^

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to contribute to the local 'Den Bosch couchsurfing community'. With a group of friends we organize quarterly meetings of 2 - 3 days and single night monthly events. Besides that I host fellow CS'ers, show people arround in Den Bosch

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several guests, surfed myself, contributed to some CS events and organized some myself.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Spend a week with an indigenous family in Peru on the shore of lake Titicaca that only spoke Quechua (their native language). No elektricity, hardly any comfort, but damn they were friendly and generous!
