PHILOSOPHY
Among many others:
Segui il tuo corso, e lascia dir le genti.
Your situation can always be better and it can surley also always be worse. That's why so far I've lived have come to learn that the great trick, and so called mystery of life is to do the best of what's around. If you can manage without complaining; then enjoy.
I've come to understand that life gets a lot more funny and enormously much wider if I welcome things that are new, strange and different with an open mind. It doesn't always turn out good, but the times i does; everything is worth it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To show hospitality to others and make friends is a huge pleasure for me. Good relations between people is what a good life is about and CS has the potential to make these connections.
I can't be the only one that prefer to see new places from the locals perspective. Get guidance from people who know all the hip & cool as well as the astonishing beautiful small places. They exist everywhere, but it usualy takes a lot of time to discover them (At least all of them). You could do it on your own, but then it takes at least half a year, wich anyway is needed if you really want to get to know a place very well. Unfortunately(?), our time here on earth is limited. That means that to see many places, we can't stay for to long each place if we want to build a network of friends and good people. One of the solutions, and it could be regarded as cheating, is called Couchsurfing. Through couchsurfers you suddenly have a network of people you can use in every town all over the world. Both for shorter trips, but also to get a kick start on a longer stay. Suddenly you're on the inside in every place on the earth beacuse every couchsurfer is a friend you just haven't met yet. And friends usualy go a long way to help each other.
The human resources CS holds are extraordinary and priceless, independent on how long the stay becomes. I'm proud of being part of this community.
