Music, Movies, and Books

I like just about every type of artistic expression. Edgy, artsy, experimental, I'm there if there's an honesty and transcendence about it that connects with it's audience.

Buuuuuuuut....if I had to be more specific, they'd be things like....
Movies: Revolution, Upside Down, The Fountain, Lost in Translation...I love love stories.
Music: almost everything, I've been listening to a lot of Folk/Alternative, and Electronic lately.
Books: I tent to gravitate towards Non-Fiction. The Ecoholic books are good. I love libraries or being curled up in a comfy corner, preferably with a window, with a cup of tea and a book. Reading in the forest is pretty good too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am interested in learning language for one thing.
Deutsch: I picked up a few words in a German high school course and hoped to become fluent, but I'm really weak and don't practice. I wouldn't mind being fluent.
Español: I have a little experience in Spanish (de América), I learned to count in English and Spanish at the same time, I took a Spanish ("Méxicano") course during high school, and occasionally practice with native speaking (Méxicano y Sudamericano) friends, asking questions to help me pick it up better. I would like to become fluent.
Français: Oui! French is my second language, I was in early Elementary French Immersion, and now erratically work on developing my proficiency. I plan to become fluent.
Italiano: My latest acquisition endeavour; Italian. I would like to become fluent.
日本人 (Nihongo, I hope this is right): I would like to pick up some Japanese and be able to communicate somewhat adequately or stumble along in conversation.
العربية: Yes, I'd like to learn a smattering of Arabic or as much as I can wrap my head around and retain.

I'm also interested in becoming a self-sufficient forager. I love botany and am always looking to absorb more about the edible and medicinal properties of plants.
