HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Welcoming travelers of all ilk from all corners of the world. After traveling the Pacific Rim, trekking across the Outback and going overland from Beijing to Bangkok, I went to work teaching wilderness education in Costa Rica. After having welcomed so much positive karma from hosts abroad, I'd love to return the favor.

Deepest freedive: 54 feet.

Hardest task: Dragging two boats by an anchor, 20 feet below water, with no air.

What finally cured me of my claustrophobia: Cavern swimming in Costa Rica.
