About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Reduce stuff to what I can carry, then travel!

1/8/15 Denver or BUST I'm heading for Denver after the first of the year and looking forward to surfing some couches. I've been hosting for years but this will be my first time accepting the hospitality of the lovely couchsurfing community, and I'm SO EXCITED! :-D

ABOUT ME

You can sort of learn more about me here (and the sort of oddballs I have as friends):

PHILOSOPHY

Keeping it real and simple. Being good to people. Seeing and learning about as much of the world as I can while I'm here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mainly hosted, but recently surfed for the first time in Portland, OR and it was a great experience. Right now I'm hosting and planning some short trips for the fall.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is such a great thing. I've met some really great people, a few of whom I'm still in touch with after years. It's really nice to know that I have a place to stay in several countries with friends I've hosted in the past. And it's always great to meet new people :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2014 update: This is the year of physical fitness. I've started running and just did my first Tough Mudder. Paddleboarding is tons of fun and rock climbing is next on the adventure list. Vancouver BC is very likely the next place I'll live. Or maybe the second to next place.
