Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing? I've only had great experiences since knowing CS for the first time in Istambul in 2006, and I've met many nice people since then, both as a guest and as a host, while being a clandestine couchsurfer for too long.
Interests
Anything that moves me, inspires me or just makes me smile. My last order from amazon just arrived a few days ago: a book about Sumer "firsts" in history, Neural science principles by Eric Kandel and a book about mapping that thing called World. I guess I'm just a perpetual apprentice - sometimes I think it is a gift, others that it is a curse. Hearing personal stories from other people, and sometimes, when I feel like talking, also tell some stories about me. I'm realizing now that I love smiling faces because they make me feel good. Right now I'm thinking about learning to fly, again. I also love irony, and I'm not being ironic.

Music, Movies, and Books
From Cantigas de Alfonso X el Sabio interpreted by Jordi Savall (Gregorio Paniagua is also ok) to Talking Heads (stop making sense of course), from Gwendal to Carcass, from Psí Vojáci to Los Masis and Savia Andina - and anything in between, whatever that means. Oh and I forgot Babes in Toyland and The Dwarves, somewhere in the mix. And this.
Good bye Lenin, Waking Ned Devine, Ruby in Paradise, Amelie, Le vélo de Ghislain Lambert, The Straight Story, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Poslední propadne peklu, and many others I just don't remember right now, but would probably make me cry or laugh if I did.
Stories written by Italo Calvino, Roald Dahl or John Berger to name a few; technical writings about .. technical things I'm sometimes interested in; the Gospel according to Jesus Christ, by Saramago.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I exist, I do it every day of my life, and it still amazes me whenever I think about it. I've met many kind, generous and just plain nice people - yes it's also amazing if you think about it. I've seen Angus Young playing live with 54 years, his name tells it all. And I've also witnessed the end of the world - in fact it was only a total solar eclipse, but it really looked like the last day on earth. Amazing, again. I've seen a marvellous sunset from WTC north, before the end of the world. I also attended a Spartakiáda in Prague's Strahov Stadion, the biggest one in the world, when I was a kid - but I wouldn't know if that counts as amazing or just weird.
