About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have a great time going to places I've never been and meeting new people. It's a rare thing to be able to do it, so I feel lucky when I can.
ABOUT ME
Well to start I have red hair and an even redder beard. I am also an identical twin, which is awesome. If we're lucky, me and my twin will be traveling together.
I am 31, and I started traveling in Spring 2009, since then I've traveled to Japan, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Mexico, Canada, UK, and around America (Washington D.C., cross country, Oregon, San Fran, etc).
I am well educated, and I'd like to think I'm funny. I ought be, I'm a comedy writer. But I also write drama and other less funny things. I currently live in Los Angeles, CA, where I write and work in TV and film, and I used to live in NYC, and still go there often where I work in theater when I'm lucky.
I am generally very outgoing and pride myself on my conversation skills (in English anyway). I love movies, theater, music, books, and yes I even love TV (but not most of it), and of course I love people.
I have moved around a lot (14 apartments in 8 years), and I'm not rich, so I'm used to being in tight spaces with different types of people.
I am just looking to have a great time, grow and learn and meet great people along the way.
PHILOSOPHY
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr. Seuss

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I signed up because I was just told about it as I was asking around about staying with local people on my trip to Japan. It was my first trip out of the USA for 9 years! And also my 2nd trip (previously went to England). Japan was unreal and I can't wait to go back. Thanks in part to couch sitting!
Since then I have driven across and up and down America and up the West Coast, and traveled to Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Canada and Mexico.
Next up Europe and hopefully Thailand.
And my couch will be open whenever it can be.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I did it in Japan and had a great experience, then did it in Toronto and twice in Montreal where I made great friends and had the best time with my hosts! I really hope to do it more! Also, though not official couch surfing, I have tried, wherever I go, to stay with or spend as much time as I can with locals and other travelers, making new friends and having unique new experiences.
Interests
So many things... I'm hoping I don't know them all yet, I'll find out when I get to them.
Adventure, film, tv, theater, music, comedy, travel, food & drink, art, politics. Friends... I love my friends, I love making friends, I like being social.
I'm up for trying things. I'm very original that way.
