I've been told that I'm willing to try anything, and I'll take that as a compliment. Life is too short to stick with only what I know. I love adventure, I love people, and I love the outdoors.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to surf and host whenever I can manage.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was in Morocco. I got off the plane in Marrakech not knowing what to expect. I was greeted by some amazing men who showed us everything they could about Moroccan and Berber culture in 3 days. Then, we surfed more in Casablanca and Rabat. It was such an amazing experience - seeing the real lives of people.

I loved that they all had something to teach us, whether it was cooking a traditional meal, a few words in Berber, or some factors of their religion or culture. CS is an amazing project connecting people all over the world.

Centres d'intérêt

I love traveling, languages, cultures. I am always so blown away at how small my understanding is when I meet somebody new. In those situations, I just enjoy listening and learning.

Just about anything outdoors will put a smile on my face - especially if it involves water. I've always loved swimming, and recently started kayaking.

Cooking is my science - my art. It's a stress-reliever, an experiment, a masterpiece. Needless to say, my friends are well-fed. :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have been so lucky in my life. Amazing moments include:

-Being chased down the street in southern Egypt by a group of kids who just wanted to see me. We spent hours just laughing and smiling in a language we could all understand.

-Camping out under the stars in the Moroccan desert, falling asleep to the drums still beating.

-The peace of waking up early, climbing over a fence, and swimming in the Sea of Galilee by myself as the sun came up.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach basic French, cooking, arabic writing, and how to get around Minneapolis.

I'd love to learn other languages, your home's culture, or anything really.

I'll share my home, but also my experiences.
