ABOUT ME
Since finishing Uni...ummmm 7 years ago my now husband and I have been just travelling the world! Canada, UK, Europe, Middle East, Nepal, Japan! We love meeting people form different cultures and learning how amazing people are at all kinds of things! Now its our turn to give back to all those who we have bummed couches from...!!
PHILOSOPHY
You only ever get what you give. So I try to give everything I can of myself every day and not expect anything in return. This is sometimes the hardest thing to do but you feel amazing when you can!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have always travelled on a budget, that means taking up on offers from people we sometimes hardly know to get a place to stay...but its always been great and now we want to give back to all those who have helped us by giving others the same hospitality!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Canadains....you saved my life!!! I knew nobody in a pub in WIndsor and by the end of the night I had 4 people offering a place to stay for as long as I needed!!! Ahh it was the most humbling experience, there are so many people ready to give you a hand! In Scotland the same happened to us and we made life long friends..!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - romantic comedy, and anything with Will Farell!
Music - roots, Micheal Franti etc...
Books - anything that makes me think more about the world we live in and the life I lead...and every now and then a chicky novel!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Slept in the Jordanian desert with complete slience, watching the stars until all hours of the morning... then rode on a camel with a bloody sore arse for the next two days!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
The most important thing I have ever learnt is that you can never be too kind on yourself and others and the world around us!! If we are all kind on ourselves we can be compassionate for others and then we would all be caring more deeply for everthing around us.
I want to learn how I can help people understand this idea and spread more compassion through our world.....
