ABOUT ME

Currently I'm living in Barcelona awaiting the arrival of summer so I can enjoy the city in full bloom. I've been here almost three years and can't believe it's been that long. I was born and raised in Oklahoma but moved to Chicago to go to university. After five years there it was time for a change and I randomly and luckily chose Barcelona. I'm comfortable in the city and the country and love learning languages and letting the small details of a place color my experience. Sidewalk art in Roger's Park, the smell of a street in Barcelona, the color of straws at a random bar in Madrid, hearing Fado in the Baixa in Lisbon, and graffiti on trams in Budapest are things that stay with me when I visit a place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I share a flat with three other people and our couch isn't worth offering to anyone. But I'd love to meet up and show people this city from a local's perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couchsurfed once so far and it made my trip. My experience would have been completely different without the hospitality and knowledge of someone who lived there.
