About Me
ABOUT ME
Well, from rural coastal places I love being out side, and in boats. I love music and going to music festivals. I love camping and spending time with people in beautiful places... I really like seeing new places and meeting people. I was brought up in Tasmania until I was eight and I still like to visit Australia when I get the chance, making the most of the more reliable weather out there for camping.
I am currently wondering around Australia, visiting family and friends and working out where I'll end up for the next wee while.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, why...because I like meeting new people and when I can I like helping other people travel ( at the moment I'm travelling though, so hosting isn't an option). I've met lots of couch surfers through other friends and I guess I just think it's a good thing...
Interests
My interests apart from what I've written above?
I studied environmental geoscience at uni, so science is up there - especially rocks and marine things.
I get pretty excited about making baskets - and other crafty things.
I like travelling and visiting people and getting to know new places, camping, fishing, boats (very used to being in small boats, rowing, with out boards... And limited sailing experience - would be very keen to get more sailing experience) playing outside...I'm not obsessed with one thing but like variety in adventures.
That's enough I think.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - love a bit of reggae and dub (bonjah, cat empire, bob Marley, fat Freddys drop) also folky stuff like angus and julia stone, Leah Flanagan and oldies like Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, van Morrison... Also things like little axe, and Scottish stuff like peat bog faeries, shooglenifty, kris drever, as well as some classical and pre classical stuff like the messiah and Palestrina, really the list could go on and on and on.
Books, I quite into john Irving books at the moment but again a pretty varied diet when it comes to books and films too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not really sure about this one, I guess everyone's idea of amazing is a bit different.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to share time with hosts, to find out about different ways of living and share my experiences and Scottish culture. I could play you a Scottish tune or two on my fiddle. Love helping out where ever I go.
