About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See, feel, taste, breathe, experience, live, love, life.
PHILOSOPHY
I heard this great quote from the book Don Quioxte - "Too much sanity may be madness, and maddest of all, to see the world as it is, and not as it should be." I think that just about sums it all up...everything is relative to everything else, so it really just depends on how you look at it. Don't take anything too seriously, although nothing is a joke, and always let your hair down.

Interests
There are really very few things that i'm not interested in, once i hear about them. One of the reasons i never get anything done is because i want to do everything else at the same time! But, to name a few, music, art, writing - anything creative. Anything you can do without having to know how. Travel will always be something i need. I like outdoorsy stuff, walking, riding horses and motorbikes, just being outside. I want to get involved in aid work, or hopefully journalism in aras that need it - i don't want to talk about celebs and shoes.
Music, Movies, and Books
Bob Dylan, Beatles, Hendrix, Bob Marley, Damien Rice, Rodriguez, Jack Johnson,Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Aimee Mann, Cat Stevens, Counting Crows...I could go on and on...love the classics, Beethoven is timeless.
I like movies that make you think, or completely transport you...loved the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Gladiator, Magnolia, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Amelie, Blood Diamond, Million Dollar Hotel, Before Sunset, Slumdog Millionaire, Atonement,Monty Python, the Lion King, again, i fon't know where to stop...Life is Beautiful, Woman on a Bridge..
If i'm not reading something i go insane...Tolkien is almost unbeatable, Virginia Woolf Mrs. Dalloway, almost anything by Paul Gallico-especially Love of Seven Dolls, Wuthering Heights, D.H. Lawrence, Jane Austen, Terry Pratchett, The English Patient...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stayed for a week in a completely rural village called Popopo in Lesotho, a tiny country right in the middle of South Africa. I was in a tiny mud walled house with this amazing family, eating traditional food, drinking traditional beer. i showed all the local kids how to make origami cranes out of newspaper, took long walks to the nearest water tap, i met the chief. The entire time was incredible, a completely different world. It took me weeks to adjust back to normality and shit again. Incredible.
