I am really new to this deal and am really enthusiastic. I have done a little surfing but really want to get into it and I have the time now.

I like a lot of theory/philosophy books too. Mostly Foucault, Nietzsche, the Diamond Sutra, Apology, The Kula Ring by Malinowski, and ~The Unbearable Lightness of Being as a philosophical novel.

music....Femme surf punk is my favorite local genre. I do enjoy a lot of electronica, indie rock, hip hop, folk, and AFRICAN SOUKOUS. I like that last one a lot. Favorites: El Guincho, David Byrne/Talking Heads, Radiohead, M.I.A., Exuma, Wu - Tang Clan - The Smiths - Black Lips

food... I love to create my own recipes, I often do a curry but lately have been making lots of miso soup and pot stickers. Also, PHO.
