About Me

ABOUT ME

cozy, friendly, off the wall, imaginative, cautious, curious, unusually into cats, comfortable silence lover, astrology dabbler, non-interrupter, high-pitch singer, wit appreciate-er, dollly pardon fan, actor, hopelessly perceptive of scent, soft sleeper, no dairy, no gluten, no eggs.

PHILOSOPHY
"Live by the foma* that make you brave and kind and healthy and happy." — The Books of Bokonon 1:5 (Cat's Cradle)

"There are no superstars, there is no superman, i learn from everyone, i learn from whom I can!" - Diane cluck

"Of the Good in you I can speak, but not of the Evil. For what is Evil but Good-tortured by its own hunger and thirst? When Good is hungry, it seeks food, even in dark caves, and when it thirsts, it drinks even of dead waters." -Kahlil Gibran

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I prefer community over capitalism.

I've been in college for the past 5 years and it felt difficult to host and study at the same time.

But when I do host, I'm pretty mild on the mild to ADVENTURE scale. I make a home-away-from-home. There's a couch with a pull out bed. There's a little not private yard if ya gotta tent. Maybe not the best for tenting, but possible.

I love to meet people and spend quality time in new places! I also have appreciated staying with hosts who can simply let me crash and decompress from whatever else I'm doing. It's a big world out there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am highly in favor of the community-friendly feeling that I get from participating in CS...I loved arriving and plopping into another life where my hosts shared so graciously their lives and friends and favorite places. It's a good way to share in many ways.

Interests

hmm.. piano, singing in harmony, traditional musics (shape note singng, polyphonic harmonies), pen and ink drawings, making herbal medicine, "talking it out" / developing clear and , empowering communication styles, laying in grass, a good meal, blanket forts, the "ungame", surprises, quiet, hot showers...
