About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Just because it is, doesn't mean it should be." - Austrailia

ABOUT ME

I am just a small-town girl who has been blessed with opportunities to see much of the world. This has only increased my thirst to see more of it and to learn as much as I can about other people and cultures. It has also opened my eyes to many of the injustices and suffering experienced by humanity, particularly by children, and given me a desire to right as many wrongs as I can in my short life.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for Jesus.

"Just because it is, doesn't mean it should be." -Australia

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I enjoy the touristy things, but even more than that, I enjoy learning from the people and the cultures of the places I've been. Some memorable experiences include eating dinner with a Quechua family in Peru, staying in the home of an elderly Yapese lady in Micronesia, spending a day at a zoo with special needs children in Romania, and being welcomed into the huts of my friends in Uganda... to name a few.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn how to speak Swahili, how to ride a motorcycle, and how to cook whatever you know how to cook. :)I enjoy teaching English as a second language... I can teach you how to make beads out of paper and how to cook a darn good curry.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, Guam, Hungary, India, Micronesia, Federated States of, Peru, Puerto Rico, Romania, South Sudan, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Uganda, United States
