ABOUT ME

I am a private yoga teacher and spend a good amount of time studying yoga and teaching it, which I enjoy immensely. I am also creating a brand called The Joyflow, which invites people to tap into the magic and joy of life. I have lived in Miami for 5 years now and truly love the diverse offering of things to do and see and explore: anything you are interested in, you will find at least a small group to be interested in it with you!! I am also a lover of nature: I find my peace outdoors under the treetops and on the beach.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've stayed on couches of surfers in the past. I'm currently in a transitional period, but once I find a new place, my couch will be up for grabs!

Fave books: Michael Pollan's In Defense of Food and The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Currently reading The Outliers. Just read Water for Elephants, and it was awesome.

Climbing an active, snow-covered volcano with crampons and a pickax was probably the most frightening and exhilarating thing I've ever done. I've also saved a child from drowning.
