ABOUT ME

After having finished my degree in computer science and doing voluntary work in a kids shelter in south africa, my current mission is to do something good for the environment.

This hopefully means that I'll soon find a PhD position where I can help integrating renewable energy sources into our power-grid or develop new means of helping people to save electricity.

If I'd have to describe myself, I'd say that I'm pretty laid back most of the time and that I try my best to be open minded. Some people also say that I'm also hungry all the time, but I think that's just an exaggeration :)
I can be quite curious and to explore new things and I actually like tough challenges!

Interests

Basically any kind of sports, currently mainly badminton and kitesurfing whenever possible! I love music (okay, who doesn't?), but I also enjoy the silent moments in life ..
I like a good movie, to play the piano, programming, nature, bicycling, sleeping, cooking (and eating! :), reading (when I have the time)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to play the piano and I could teach you some of that. Some part of me also is a computer nerd - and I'm always willing to help in this area! I'm currently looking into playing the guitar and also want to learn to play the drums. Drawing is something equally cool that I want to learn - and improvisational theater is something that I (hopefully) just've begun! Oh, and Lindy Hop (a dance) is also really great - both as a teacher and a learner :)
