About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the world and enjoy the people and places I discover
ABOUT ME
I do photography & design for a perfumer in Berkeley and photography for the College of Natural Resources, apprentice at a cooking school.
I am a fan of Groupmuse! You should check it out https://www.groupmuse.com/ it is basically a fantastic network of interesting people & musicians playing classical music in people's living rooms (parties).
I got a degree in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley, and then traveled around Europe a bit before heading back to California. I love swimming, going on adventures and discovering new things. I tend to be shy when meeting new people but usually it fades fast.
I have studied abroad twice in London, taking classes in British Theatre, Cinema, Museums and Culture.
Cognitive Science is a mix of linguistics, neuroscience, philosophy, artificial intelligence and psychology. However, took many courses outside of my field at King's College - such as silent cinema, ethics, german, and drugs & disease. I would say I have a very odd mix of knowledge, but love that I have been able to explore and learn more a variety of things I find interesting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had nothing but good experiences couch surfing - both alone and with friends. Mostly just in Europe, some highlights include learning to make traditional hungarian goulash in Budapest, climbing the lit up Pont du Gard in Nimes, learning to dance in Greece, exploring underwater caves in Puglia, it's been great sharing knowledge, experiences & wonderful conversations with hosts along the way.
