COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have had incredible experiences surfing with hosts and I am greatly looking forward to be able to return the favor to this community and host as soon as I am back in Cape Town!

Interesses

My greatest interest is collecting Sporks (which is a spoon and fork in one). Are you asking "really?". Well, no...of course not really. Unfortunately my interests are a lot more obvious:

Party, chilling and wine!(3 of Capetonians´ favourite hobbies), chasing sunrises/sunsets, Music & Films, Traveling (go figure, is there anyone on couchsurfing that doesn´t say "traveling"?), taking the road (not looking back, yet not knowing what exactly you are looking towards), Recreational Sports (such as bungee jumping, snowboarding,etc.),etc...etc...etc. But as I have found: If you always do what interests you, at least one person is pleased.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Movies: There are an incredible amount of movies I greatly appreciate, but here are a few: A Good Year, Moulin Rouge, Delicatessen, Requiem for a Dream, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, Finding Neverland, Big Fish, Peaceful Warrior, Amelie, Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas, Gangs of New York, Being Julia, Edward Scissorhands, Atonement, Sweeney Todd, The Departed, Finding Nemo, Chocolat, Benny and Joon, Something's gotta give, 50 first dates, Titanic (yes, Titanic), As it is in Heaven, etc. etc. etc.

Music: Practically everything from practically every genre. I am extremely interested in music and the role it plays in our lives. Naming artists would take forever. But I am always interested in learning new music as much as I can and therefor I am open to practically every music genre.

Books: Philosophy, Fantasy, Fiction, etc. Try to read a lot...it doesn't always work out that way, though.

As for the rest, some of it is not very well known and some of it is mainstream. I have no objection to mainstream. It has become mainstream to be anti-mainstream and therefor I have no interest in rejecting anything simply because it is mainstream. If I like it, I like it. If I love it. Better.
