To experience the real culture of the places I travel and see my brother! He's one of my best friends and I haven't seen him in a long time!

ABOUT ME

Michael and I have been married since August 16th, 2008. We recently completed our undergraduate work and are moving to West Virginia in August where I will be working on my master's and he will be teaching English. I hope to work in student affairs in a college or university and Michael will be pursuing a master's in journalism.

I currently work at a challenge course and will be working for the Mountaineer Adventure Program at West Virginia University in August. I love being outdoors and climbing things. Michael loves to write and has written for several papers and publications, ranging from satirical articles, to feature articles, to sports. He hopes to write a book.

We are both fun-loving and outgoing. We love meeting new people and trying new things. I have done a bit of traveling in the past, but this May will be Michael's first time out of the country...and he is really excited!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Best movies seen recently- Marley and Me and Bolt. (I'm an animal lover and bit of a cheese-ball)

We enjoy most all music and have a very eclectic collection. However, I (Mary Audrey) do not really enjoy country.

Books- Michael enjoys more of the classics while I enjoy more popular fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Michael played the tuba in the world premier of a piece by a world-famous composer, David R. Holsinger. He also had lunch with the composer.

I (Mary Audrey) decided with a friend on a Wednesday that we wanted to go to Disney World for the weekend (a 16 hour drive). We left the next day, skipped class on Friday, and went to Disney World. We went to all four parks in one day, saw a concert in front of Cinderella's castle until 2am, went to the beach, and partied with a friend, and made it back on time for class on Monday. I love spontaneous road trips!
