About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling around the world while doing my dream job. And becoming hexalingual.

ABOUT ME

Well hello.

I'm a guy who likes to discover new places and meet cool people. I get bored staying in the same place for too long, no matter how nice or comfortable. I enjoy eating and drinking. Especially beer. Unless it's warm. Or served in a cup. Or both. I try to ride my bike and go out for a swim often enough to compensate for my nocturnal behaviour, yet I usually fail miserably. Also fond of Malbec wine.

I'm always in for a visit to the pub, rock gigs, a BBQ, playing poker or just hanging out wherever... I like a good story and a good joke, but I'm not very good at telling either myself. Sarcasm mode is usually switched on. Music and books are also essential to a life well lived.

I like a good chat and I'm always willing to listen to what you have to say. Unless I'm badly jetlagged or hungover. And unless, of course, you decide to talk total and utter rubbish.

I like to cook a bit and I like to help out in the kitchen and try new food. I will absolutely positively make a mess, but fortunately I do have a tendency to clean up too.

On a professional level I have a degree in journalism journalist, freelancing as a motorsport journalist/PR. That means you'll sometimes find me developing an urge to get on my laptop and do some work (and further secure my travel budget...).

Looking forward to meeting you wherever and whenever.

PHILOSOPHY

Celebrate life like there's no tomorrow.

What you fear doing most, is usually what you most need to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For me CS is about getting the maximum out of everything you do. Why go sleep in an anonymous hotel when you could go for a much richer experience. I like to discover the culture of a certain country by being in touch with its people, discovering their way of thinking. After surfing or hosting someone, I've usually felt richer for it. When traveling I usually alternate between couchsurfing and hostels to keep things fresh and independent.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Merrily surfed a couple of comfy (and arguably less comfy) couches around Australia, North America and many European countries.

I'd love to host more people on the rare occasion that I'm home.
