CURRENT MISSION
We recently acquired 20 acres in Sept 2023, and need your help to make it suitable for visitors. Let us share a warm meal, have positive experience and create lasting memories.

ABOUT ME
I am continuously learning.
My family and I are cacao farmers and chocolate makers. We bring the chocolate wherever we go!!! If you love chocolate, you'll love us lol.

Book of Hebrews, Chapter 13, verse 2: Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. -Sounds like my CS experience...

Amadeu: We leave something of ourselves behind when we leave a place. We stay there, even though we go away. And there are things in us that we can find again only by going back there. We travel to ourselves when we go to a place. Now we have covered the stretch of our lives, no matter how brief it may have been.

Start of year 2016: Stepping forward in this age of Aquarius, I am already experiencing some grounding and stability, which is the biggest contrast to years past. Collaboration with others (which I steadfastly avoided previously) has now formed a huge part of my life and routine. Moving away from the solitary to the communal. Transitioning from the lone wolf mentality to seeking the company of others. Giving of myself, learning and sharing with others.

Trusting in the Divine, and knowing that what will be, will be because of the Divine hand that guides the universe. Giving up the fear of darkness surrounded in the light. Giving up fear of being wrong, and the need to be right. Loving, and not being afraid to love.

I still want to give thanks to those who've influenced me during the past years while travelling. You have been so lovely, so sharing, I've been overwhelmed by your graciousess, hospitality, generosity, and love.

To my adopted family in FatuIva thank you, to my friends in Moorea, Julie, and others, you're amazing. Lorena and Joel in Galapagos, thank you many times.
Mik my friend, blessings forever for your love and teaching.

Love to you all always.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

" A decisive moment of life, when its direction changes forever, are not always marked by large and shown dramatics. In truth, the dramatic moments of a life determining experience are often unbelievable, low key. When it unfolds its revolutionary effects and insures that life is revealed in a brand new light, it does that silently. And in this wonderful silence resides its special nobility." Amadeu de Prado

After travelling, and finding it hard to link with people who practice Kundalini yoga, I decided to open up my house and dedicate the space to it. I am also starting a collection of Kundalini yoga, books and music, for anyone wanting to grow their practice, are beginners, or just curious. So feel free to bring a book music or something to share:-)

I participate by hosting, sailing, surfing, bringing beer or wine to parties, giving people a lift, finding & sharing all the free concerts and activities, making things happen, making brownies and orgasmic iced tea, giving advice anyway I can, taking you trekking to the waterfalls, meditating, market shopping, dancing, loving, helping and sharing, facilitating private and group yoga, chanting, singing, dancing, teaching, planting, eating...
I love hosting, and, now, I love sailing and traveling and meeting others who share and believe in the CS project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Something's happened where the CS tide is not the same, it's changing, not sure I want to head where it's going, but I am still eternally optimistic. Still I will seek to connect deeply with others like I've done in the past, learn, share, love and grow together. May we all have that light, and positive experiences. Everybody wins. Through this radical thing called couch surfing I've met some really cool people, and learned extensively. Sharing cultures, learning different ways of doing things, and learning to appreciate more my own culture. Amazingly, I've stopped taking simple experiences like having a Maracas bake and shark, or eating a mango, for granted. Couch surfers have reminded me not to take things for granted....
Grace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending an afternoon with the babies and toddlers in an orphanage, Malambo Panama. Playing with them (and them with my hair), and singing a very special traditional song from Trinidad & Tobago to them at the end. So much unconditional love, I was soaring!

Sailing, with no land in sight, trusting the stars, yourself and your ship.

Cooking and sharing a meal, with my adopted polynesian family

Teach, Learn, Share

"When you don't go within, you go without."

"If you want to learn something, read about it.
If you want to understand something, write about it.
If you want to master something, teach it."

"The fact is that there is nothing more beautiful, more worthy or more conscious than you."

"We must be guided by faith. If we are guided by fear we lock ourselves and our expansion."

"Sometimes people do go wrong. There is no judgment needed. Wrong will take a short time or a long time to make the individual aware that something is wrong, and that is the beginning of that person's awakening. "
