CURRENT MISSION

Ride the waves of awesome life

ABOUT ME

Hello, I am traveler at heart and has been living in many different cities including Tokyo, Guam, Boston, LA, London, and currently in San Francisco. I am very easy going/out going and a fond of sharing stories with new people. I am a believer in good life and would love to cherish each moment with full heart; ideally, sharing that experience with other people. Traveling can bring a great lessons and meditation. This is why I am addicted to going around places. Please to meet you!

PHILOSOPHY

"Go with the flow, or the flow will go you."

"If you are burning, might as well burn bright."

"Live the moment."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Story goes like this: When I was traveling to Brooklyn last year, I have shared the hostel dorm with two travelers from France and we got along quite well. We were of course strangers at first, but since I had reasonable amount of knowledge about the area we naturally stick together for adventure. The whole experience kind of shown me a new horizon on interaction with 'strangers' and somehow taught me even a 'strangers' can be friends instantly.
During the whole journey, the group introduced me to this new awesome thing called "couchsurf" that essentially connects travelers with people in their travel destination. Not necessarily only to share the place to crash, but also to share the excitement of exploring and discovering the city and its culture.
I thought is is awesome, and something I should definitely get on. Therefore I am. New to couchsurf, ready to sail away to the broad new horizon...

Currently, I am living in San Francisco and fairly new but would like to meet new travelers from elsewhere and hop on the journey together. I would like to host other couchsurfers when I'm in town and couches are available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some wonderful characters while I visited Japan last year. Couchsurf is very eye opening as well as heart opening experience to get to know the people that otherwise pass by you without noticing.

Interests

I am hike-a-holic! Trying to keep myself busy with hiking and other outdoor activities on most weekends. I am also into boxing and long run. I find the weather in Bay Area is perfect for such activities.

I am a big fan of sci-fi films and matter of fact has been a part-time writer myself. Studied film production in college, so my passion lies on film production but also generally interested in creation process of art. I like photography (mainly street/portrait photography). Avid music listener, particularly indies and underground music. My favorite musicians include: The Stone Roses, Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, New Order, Pulp, The Radio Dept., Suede, Bill Evans Trio, Doomtree, Foo Fighter, Animal Collective, Frederick Chopin, The Smiths, Title Fight etc. I am always on the road whenever there is a time to spend my freedom...going to new part of cities and about. Adventure is the key of excitement to my day-to-day activity!
