I realized that searching was my symbol, the emblem of those who go out at night with nothing in mind, the motives of a destroyer of compasses.

ABOUT ME

We should live and die for life itself and love, not for abstract ideas, religions or doctrines. In the end, all are kind of arbitrarial and whimsical, so it isn´t worthy spending too much energy trying to proove or refute them.

The fact is that I adore life so much that I have no further imagination for anything that´s not life.

I wholeheartly agree with Camus: "You know what charm is: a way of getting the answer yes without having asked any clear question."

And Wilde, of course: "It is absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either charming or tedious."

PHILOSOPHY

What to say? I have no religion. Sometimes I feel compassionate, but other times I just don´t care. My beliefs come as a wave, my feelings are hardly understandable even by myself; my thoughts?, well, I might only really feel by thinking, there is no special proeminence in me of reason or passion. As a matter of fact, I prefer to let reason and passion fight all the way than peacefully reconcile them.

Nevertheless, I have exact principles and I´m always faithful to myself --- those rules of character aren´t plain though. The "I" is/am just many characters, with contradictions, without any synthesis. An open-lyric heart and a annoyingly-wit, clear-cut, almost-mathematical brain: that´s me. Maybe not.

I want to guide people around Rio and nearby, give them good advice, because they will surely need it. Maybe, but just maybe, provide them with occasional shelter.
