I'm pretty ambitious, fun, relaxed and many other things. I am addicted to traveling and learning new things about culture, languages, and history. Although Ive been known to rant about intellectual endeavors I can also shut up and enjoy the moment for what it is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got robbed in Peru and wore the same thing for 3 weeks! Met some pretty generous and giving locals and backpackers there, and I even returned a nice pair of pants a local Arequipeno lent me (the pants traveled with me into Boliva and back)! Once your free of material wealth you loose the fear of loosing anything else, it was a weird but very rewarding situation! In 2007 During my research in 2007 I was privileged enough to get the last interviewed of the last Nahuat chief in El Salvador, he died 3 days later!!!!!

I can provide pretty derailed information on South America since geographically I have covered a good percentage of it. I would love to know other experiences (or logistics) about other peoples travels to far off lands alien to me or not. Every travel experience is different and I have heard the weirdest things during my backpacking!
