CURRENT MISSION

I just graduated from college last month so now I'm trying to get a real world education outside of the bubble of accademia, mainly by traveling until I run out of money.

ABOUT ME

I've lived in Virginia my entire life and am ready to move on to bigger adventures. I'm shy at first, but I really love going to new places and meeting new people. I lived with four different host families when I was in Italy last summer and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

I like drawing and painting more than pretty much anything else in the world...sometimes I even bring my sketchbook to the movies with me. My long term goal is to get an MFA and be a starving artist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As you can probably see from my profile I'm new to the couch surfing thing so I haven't really participated yet...I first heard about it last summer from some friends I met while traveling, but I didn't really have a lot of time during the school year to check it out.

I'm traveling until December so unfortunately I don't have a couch to offer until then...I stayed with four wonderful host families in Italy last summer so I know how to be a good guest

I listen to a lot of music, most of which most people haven't heard of...lately I've been listening to steel train, the decemberists and state radio. I'm always looking to trade music with people, especially when I'm traveling.
