Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find a narrow boat to live on with my beautiful companion
ABOUT ME
I am open, easygoing and warm hearted. My first love is people especially my partner and my large family who I have been blessed with. I am from Cornwall but am currently in the process of moving away to start new adventures. I am a performer and have spent a lot of my life working in touring theatre and putting on events which has afforded me much joy. I enjoy the artistry of performance and the magic of live art. I have more recently become a massage therapist. I love to travel and meet new people. Life's all about the journey and those whose paths you cross along the way.
PHILOSOPHY
The days you are living now are the ones you will feel nostalgic for later, so relish them in the moment. Be good to the people you meet. Nurture gratitude and hope in yourself and others.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have always found this a tough question. I like good music, good books and good films. All genres have merit. I have trouble defining myself according to my experience of the arts. It is a constant interactive flow. However in the spirit of openness i shall list a few things as they come to me: Films: Hitchcock, World cinema, Marx brothers, Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Lars Vontrear (if that is how you spell his name), Mike Liegh, old gentle black and whites ie Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Lord of the Rings, the Wickerman (original) and don't look now. All sorts.
Music: again very eclectic. Rock, Indie, Folk, classical, 80's pop, funk, drum and bass, Ska, Reggae, electro, world music, jazz, gypsy jazz, punk, blues.. I can go on. I like brass, vocals, percussion and strings. I like dancing so a lot of music thrills me. I like live gigs. Most recently i have been listening to Elvis, Elbow, Kirsty MacColl and Loenard Cohen.
Books: When a book grabs me it tends to take over so i go through fazes of reading and not reading. The last book I read was Autobiography of a Yogi which was fascinating and humbling. The author i have read the most is probably Charles Dickens, he was a great social commentator who created very colorful characters and real mystery and suspense in his storytelling. Angela Carter is also fabulous, I love the richness in her imagery. Books that i have loved off the top of my head include: Wuthering Hieghts, The Mists of Avalon, 100 years of Solitude, The unbearable lightness of being, Perfume, David Copperfield, Jane Ayre, Nights at the Circus, Wise children...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ran around naked on top of a mountain singing the hills are alive with the sound of music. Built an igloo. Learnt to snowboard. Camped in the foothills of the himilayas in middle of thunder and a lot of lightening. Traveled in India, Brazil, Europe, and North America.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to share my experiences with others and to learn from others. If there is anything I can teach you or you can teach me, Lets discover it. With regards to sharing I have my hands and massage skills.
