About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To love, starting with myself, and to live my bliss in a way that benefits the whole; to be better at trusting and receiving.
ABOUT ME
I was raised on the East Coast (which never felt right) by religious fundamentalists (ditto)...lost that faith in high school and became an atheist for a while...studied philosophy at a classics ("great books") school thinking that would answer all my questions...found out that I only had more questions, and that agnosticism made more sense than strong atheism. Moved out West for nearly twenty years, mellowed out, took up yoga, became interested in things like Zen Buddhism and other forms of nontheistic spirituality. Since 2016 my world's been rocked by nondenominational woo, but I'm trying to trust it more and more.
PHILOSOPHY
Be real. Be present. Be kind to yourself and others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have had coffee and drinks with CSers passing through Denver. Some of you may know globetrotting housesitter Stef - we had a great day in Golden, an overlooked gem around here. I live in a studio "closet" and have no extra space (not to mention a new, strict property management company), but I'm willing to meet up as I'm available. Stayed with a great CS host in Kansas City on an epic cross country roadtrip. Was "rescued" by one kind couchsurfer host while in Mexico City, and shown around the Anthropological Museum by another. Took an amble along the shoreline with legendary pioneer host Joe in Santa Cruz on my way to Esalen in Big Sur.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The things I've done that I think are amazing are probably par for the course for some of you, but navigating trips of many miles, on the ground (road or rail), stateside or abroad, as a woman traveling alone, I usually feel pretty accomplished.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach beginning yoga, plus how to make a killer scrambled tofu. My curries aren't bad either.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good humor, good stories, gratitude, a helping hand.
