Be the Best Jess I can be, Just Jess, nothing less.

I just moved to New York after living in Israel for 3 years to study at Hebrew Union College. I would describe myself as easy-going, drama-free and empathetic.

I believe that we all have a personal responsibility; a responsibility to seek the truth, a responsibility not spread non-truths, and a responsibility to show compassion to everyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately, this past year, my place was much too small to host people unless they were in a tight spot for a space. But my friend actively hosted people, and I was more than keen to participate in welcoming them to the city.

Interests

I tried to keep my studies broad; cross-cultural comparisons is by far my favourite, right after alliterations. In my spare time I like to paint or do other arts and crafts like paper maché, and I like to read--both fiction and nonfiction. I also sew, and make the majority of all my clothes.
