ABOUT ME
I'm putting off a frantic search for a grad school so I can gain a little perspective and a little experience. I've recently been inspired to travel, but that story is too long for this space (and is still under construction anyway). Some might say I'm putting my life on hold, but I'd argue I'm creating it.
I don't smoke, and don't do drugs. I do enjoy a good drink, however.

PHILOSOPHY
We're here to put meaning into our otherwise meaningless existence, and I'm going to do everything I can to do that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Thus far all I've done was surf, but as soon as I settle down I'm going to be returning the favor to fellow travelers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Phenomenal. No bad experiences, and even the ones that were less-than-stellar have been interesting regardless.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm an English major, so the book list is pretty big ... but off the top of my head: Jack Kerouac, Rick Bass, Salman Rushdie, Carl Sagan, Peter Singer.
Music: Nine Inch Nails, Tom Waits, Elliott Smith.
TV Shows:The Simpsons. Curb Your Enthusiasm. Archer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Created a charity drive for the Pine Ridge Reservation (South Dakota) in high school, drove there that summer. Went to a protest in NYC when I was 17, missed my bus and slept on the streets. Traveled across the country for 7 weeks solo after I graduated college.
