About Me

CURRENT MISSION

arriving in Vancouver

ABOUT ME

I'm a saxophone-playing, anthropology- studying, gardening cycling traveler who is interested in encounters with people and nature. I love graphic and written arts; home-made and practically proved philosophy and challenges.

PHILOSOPHY

Constantly in process.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I'll provide a couch whenever I can. I'll see what else I can do once I got to know the community a little better.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted friends and surfed their couches a bunch. The most amazing experience so far was a family of 5 who all crammed into one bedroom so that my girlfriend and me could stay in their house. that taught me a lot about hospitality. I'd like to give some of it back to all the travelers and nomads who need a place.

Interests

MUSIC, meeting people, ferry rides around the islands of southern British Columbia, queer alternatives to the binary gender system, playing MUSIC, biking, traveling, alternative living, listening to MUSIC, hitchhiking... did I mention music already?

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy self-made music, music with character and many saxophones like swing, balkan brass, music in marching band style if it's chaotic and fun.
For movies I really liked "Oh Brother where are thou?", "the sea inside", "the hours" and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once swam in a dead vulcano in Nicaragua, which filled up with water over the years. It was pretty amazing thinking that there was a whole almost all the way down into the core of the earth right underneath me.

Teach, Learn, Share

When I think about it- there is so much I want to learn: I really want to learn how to live freegan and avoid the money system whenever I can, I would like to refresh my Spanish as well and pick up some Swedish.
I can teach you a little bit about music like how to play the guitar, the banjo or the saxophone.

Countries I’ve Visited
