- cycled 320km in one day from Lucerne, Switzerland to Milano, Italy
- bungee jump in Vercasca valley
- Surfing in Tahiti
- studying a semester in Medellin, Colombia
- easter europe road trip to Albania Kosovo Macedonia Bulgaria
- a trip to Teheran, Iran and been captured by the army for 1.5h for running into the wrong direction :)
- climbing the Great Wall of China
- spectating the Paralympics in Beijing, 2008
- cycling over Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco
- swimming in the deepest and clearest lake of the USA, Crater Lake, Oregon
- 18h train ride with a stand up ticket in China
- marveling the tallest buddha in the world, Sichuan
