About Me

After working as a Montessori teacher for 3.5 years, I've worked with traumatised young women for the last 2.5 years. I quit my job in October and want to take some time off before looking for a new job. My plan is to travel in Thailand and Cambodia for 3 weeks starting the last week of November.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've always been interested in intercultural understanding and friendships. And I support CS cuz it's an amazing idea and gives people with limited financial possibilities the chance to see the world, enrich their view of the world and get to know nice people from various cultural backgrounds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed the couches of a few extraordinary people and enjoyed it a lot. I hosted quite a few couchsurfers together with my boyfriend in Linz. Most of the references we got, are on his CS profile. If you're interested, search for 'Pascal Costa, Linz'!

Interests

I love to laugh! I love to be in nature! I love to be around open-minded people! I love to travel! I love all kinds of physical exercise in fresh air; not so much competitive sports, but rather dancing, diving, hiking, rock climbing, jogging, archery, ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Harold and Maude is a great film, nearly as good as Ice Age 1 and 2 and 3 and 4. Peaceful warrior is a recent discovery of mine :)
Love any kind of music except hard rock, metal and hip hop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I learnt a lot while working with homeless alcoholics in a French caritative organisation for 6 months when I was 19. Could write a book about amazing life-stories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could share the one or other thing about progressive education and holistic learning, or about working with traumatised women. And i could share many nice stories bout travelling and cultural mis- and understandings :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My humour? All of the live experience and wisdom I gathered within almost 32 years :-) Nice moments, if we get on well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United States
