ABOUT ME

I'm really curious about different cultures and way we live. For me the best way to experience that is by traveling on two wheels. I love the freedom of being able to choose a route off the beaten path, of having to rely on the generosity of strangers, and finding unexpected places and experiences.

After riding through the Middle East last year I'm currently back on the road pursuing my dream, a motorcycle ride to Mongolia and Central Asia on my Triumph Scrambler.

I love the outdoors, especially mountains - I like to experience them any way I can - skiing, hiking, bicycling, motorcycling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing... I've surfed many couches while traveling on motorcycle and bicycle and have participated in meet ups while living in Paris and New York. Haven't had the opportunity to host yet because of my living situation, but I hope to in the future!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classic American and French films, especially film noir and nouvelle vague. Watch a lot of contemporary documentaries and indie films as well, New York has a great cinema scene and I can tell you all the best places to go.

I'm an avid reader so I couldn't possibly list everything, but some of my favorite authors are Nabokov, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Gogol, Hardy, Kapuscinski, Geoff Dyer.
