ABOUT ME
So here we are, Dina & Matze, a Greek-German couple who is back from the trip of their life.
From Feb 2009 to January 2010 we made a dream come true and travelled the world for 1 year.We started in vibrant Buenos Aires and made all our way up to Colombia by crossing Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. After 6 months in amazing South America we had a good time in Australia especially in Tasmania. In New Zealand we bought a Toyota Hiace van from 1987 to travel both islands and did a lot of Couchsurfing. Then Myanmar and Singapore were part of the last chapter of our trip around the world.
Feel free to check our (German) website for pics and stories: http://projekt365.wordpress.com/
During our so far travels we met a lot of people from all over the world and some of them left us with wonderful memories... We had a blast of a time!!!
Well, now we are back in Germany, back in Düsseldorf. We just moved into a new place and want to start hosting soon. However we are back in our daily life routine and work a hell of a lot. So from time to time we need to break out and do some city trips.
Former travels led us to Asia, Africa and quite a few parts in Europe, so travelling was/is clearly our shared passion. And for us the best way to travel was always to get in touch with local people and to profit from their home-base knowledge.
btw: Our other big passion is cooking. So it would be a pleasure for us to make you enjoy our passion for Greek, Italian and Indian food. And as Dina is a Vegetarian, there is always a non-meat option.
PHILOSOPHY
Travelling is our life-time education, there is always something new to learn, something new to discover.
"Something hidden. Go and find it. Go and look behind the Ranges.
Something lost behind the Ranges. Lost and waiting for you. Go!"
(from The Explorer by Rudyard Kipling)
