ABOUT ME

It takes a lot of time to get to know someone. I'm not sure I know all of me yet, nor do I want to. i want to do everything at once. but when i try it feels i feel like i'm leaving things out.

physical, mental, musical, playful, youthful and old (depending on your perspective).

Energetic, lazy, cautious, reckless, patient, happy.

my favourite style of poetry is haiku.

I'm passionate about the earth and the animals, plants and people that live on her shell.

I love manual labour, and intellectually stimulating thoughts, conversations and situations.

Surfing, freediving, snowboarding, slacklining, music, books, climbing, walking, hiking, swimming, running, shooting hoops, backflips and frontflips, good food, cooking, naptime, early mornings, late nights, silence and occasional epiphanies are things that keep me sane and feeling alive.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a part of couch surfing for several years now, hosting sometimes and showing people around my hometown of Cape Town, South Africa.

I am now out and about, adventuring and travelling and I'm hoping to meet up with some great community memembers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best couch surfing experience has got to be two sets of 1 week stays in Berkeley, California, and the related road trips, train trips, visual overloads, and good food.

seeing comet McNaught setting over the southern atlantic, with a lighthouse beaming below us, us on the mountain over looking the sea.

I will share my waves, my perceptions, my country and its twisty history, I will share anecdotal facts, and terrifying truths (only if you want to know them). I know a couple of good mystery stories too. I can teach you how to surf, strum, soak up the sun. i will learn anything you would like to offer, but if you can't offer, then we can share.
