About Me

After a great year of being back in my hometown of Modesto I feel like I need to get some wind beneath my feet before getting too settled. When an old friend offered me a travelling photography job, I jumped at the prospect with no hesitation. So here I am coming your way ready to explore the midwest.

During most of the year I work as a substitute teacher. By the begining of next year I hope to be well on the way to becoming a full credentialed elementary teacher.

On my free time I juggle volunteer work and plenty of hobbies. My main dedication is helping to organize events for a small DIY venue. I've met a lot of Musicians and Artists over the time I've been involved and hope to cross paths with a few folks out on the road. Outside of that I'm an avid gardener and artist.

In my travels I hope to get in a lot of camping and make some great acquaintances. Additionally I'm looking forward to checking out some new music scenes along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The biggest achievement for me was helping to start a really successful DIY venue in my home town. We operated for about a year and had over 100 events including music, art nights, workshops, and garden days. We are currently transitioning to a new more pubic space and have formed a non-profit. I'm looking forward to getting back for my travels and jumping back into the organization, but till then I'll be searching inspiration for other communities to bring back home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am hopelessly eclectic, so I got a lot to share. I have a lot of garden knowledge, can give mini drawing lessons, have some basic herbal knowledge, and can keep up with most nerdy conversations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a busy body at heart and love to help out wherever I can:

I used to work as a landscaper and still got my green thumb, so I'd always down to help out with the garden.

One other little perk is I draw all the time and tend to leave art where ever I go.
