About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I don't have any special mission... I just live.

ABOUT ME

I was born in a small town close to Nîmes, grew up in an even smaller village close to this small town... Studied at the university in Montpellier(France), then lived in Strasbourg (France), in Prague (Czech Republic), in Luxembourg and now I'm back to the area where my life started...
That's not really "all about me", but... Describing oneself is an impossible task! We would have to meet for you to know...

PHILOSOPHY

tricky question... no ready answer available.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I "participate" in having entered this "community".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Yes! I welcomed three couchsurfers at a time, and it was a great first experience!

Interests

I love reading! I spend most of my free time reading... When I don't read, I go to the cinema or watch a movie at home...
I also love cooking, inviting friends for a coffee, an aperitif, or a meal.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I watch The God father trilogy everytime I feel sad... Don't ask me why... Music: Ella Fitzgerald, Janis Joplin, Cocorosie, The Cure, David Bowie, IamX, Muse, Boris Vian. As for books, well, books I've read and which really stunned me were The Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck, Berlinalexanderplatz by Doblin, Cents ans de solitude and Chronique d'une mort annoncée by Marquez, Midnignt's Children and Shalimar the Clown by Rushdie... I was much impressed by Palahniuk's books, especially Choke, and I universally recommend A Confederacy of Dunces by John kennedy Toole. I haven't read much before 23, so I'm catching up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is it a kind of contest?

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't pretend to have much to teach... I don't feel much comfortable in the position of the teacher...
I'm very willing to share and learn, though! There's no point in life if we don't want to share and learn, is there? And we learn sharing, don't we?
