ABOUT ME

I live with my Belgian husband and our two small kids in the countryside in Lejre, Zealand. Our household also includes a bunch of chickens, a cat and a dog, fish, shrimp, canaries... it's a bit of a zoo. We have a big garden, the forest is close by and we try to spend as much time outside as possible.
Also, we love having guests and meet new people. :-)

I love: all things nature, arts, to read and listen to good music.

I dislike: loudness in general (a bit of a challenge when living with two rambunctious kids).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Used to couchsurf and host a lot. Would like to do so again later in life. At the moment we are sort of caught up in raising our children, but we always have time for a meet up, dinner, forest trip etc. We also have bikes, sleeping bags and other stuff that we lent out. Just ask if you need something.

- Surfing on Big Island, Kona in Hawaii. (2010)
- Hosting at our old place in Copenhagen. (2010-2011)
- Surfing in Zagreb, Croatia. (2011)
- Hosting in our apartment in Ghent, Belgium (2011-13)
- Surfing in Istanbul, Turkey (2012)

Ahhhhhh... so much good stuff. I really enjoy folk music I guess. I don't watch too many movies but I love a good book. Preferably something non fictional or historical.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Crossed the Pacific as a deckhand on a 50 feet yawl from 1903. A rather interesting experience as the ship had neither a toilet nor beds enough for everyone. Spend most nights in a hammock on deck under the starry sky. Delightful.

If you wanna know anything about horse-carriages, just ask! if not... I'm not gonna push you. It's an odd core competence.
Other stuff I love to babble about: Science, politics, rock/blues guitarists 1955-85.

If it for some reason would have any interest, I should also be able to teach you how to moon walk :)
