À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new people and try new things
ABOUT ME
I am down to earth and love the outdoors and get along with everyone. Very social and love learning about different cultures, ideas, beliefs, skills, hobbies you name it. Iâm down to try practically anything once. I get along well with kids, animals and enjoy the company of anyone willing to talk.
I recently started brewing my own beer and I love it! Fermentation is a fun process
PHILOSOPHY
You got to work hard to play hard. Treat everyone the same regardless; donât judge because chances are you have made a similar mistake. There is always room for improvement and you should always give someone a chance. Be good to others and learn as much as you can. The world is an open book.
"If Iâm an advocate for anything, itâs to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. The extent to which you can walk in someone elseâs shoes or at least eat their food, itâs a plus for everybody.
Open your mind, get up off the couch, move."
- Anthony Bourdain
A.B. pretty much sums it up!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a couch and hope to provide help to travelers someday. I know firsthand how difficult it can be traveling in a foreign country some times. I have stayed on a couch and look to pay it forward and if nothing else recommend some great places to eat and drink. So if you show up on the weekend we could explore some of the many trails in the desert or hit any brewery. I love Beer
Local Tip #1) Cornish Pasty Co. Tempe AZ. You won’t be disappointed.
Local Tip #2) Four Peaks Brewery. Tempe AZ
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
2009 Tried to organize with some wonderful people in Nimes but due to a missed train we were not able to meet up, it was tragic!
2009-2012 Kinda got lost in work for a few years but i feel the travel bug nipping at my heels and am eager to go somewhere.
2012 I went to Munich and unfortunately missed a connection after getting lost. It was unfortunately a bad experience for the host and I wish it turned out better. I did meet another local who invited me to stay with him at the end of the week which was awesome and a great experience.
Now - I’m looking to get more involved and lend a hand as best I can. I do work a lot and have a busy life but I will try my best to respond as best i can. If nothing else I would like to take someone to get drinks.
