About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Carpe Diem

ABOUT ME

In January 2009 I left the U.S. for the first time since 1987 when I visited Panama for 2 weeks. I became inspired to travel a lot more. I continued travel from 7/09 through 9/10 covering CO, WY, ID, WA, OR, CA, HI, Costa Rica, CT, MA, ME, NH, VT, Ottawa, and Montreal. I've now been to 19 different countries. Before the travel bug hit me I lived and worked in the Chicago area. I'd spend my free time biking, playing softball & basketball, running, and practicing yoga.
The last few years I've really opened my mind to many possibilities. I attend lectures & workshops, read books on new topics, meet new people, and travel extensively.
I now live about half the year on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai and travel the other half.

PHILOSOPHY

Be thankful.

Seek the truth.

Keep and open mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Shawshank Redemption, Field of Dreams, Hoosiers, and Office Space

Music - Wide variety, especially like acoustic guitar, would like to learn the hand pan

Books - Usually reading non-fiction, increasing my knowledge on a wide variety of topics. The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield is one of my favorites. Always willing to consider a book recommendation that might pique my interest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed for 2 days on one of the remote San Blas Islands in Panama. Check my photos and you'll see "my Island". I also lived for 3 months at an incredible intentional community in Italy called Damanhur. I hiked into and out of Kalalau Valley on the island of Kauai several times including once completing the 22 mile trek in 1 day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my 15 years of experience running every aspect of an internet based small business. I can teach others about sun gazing, growing sprouts, and eating healthy.

I'd really like to acquire and learn to play a hand pan.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Panama, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
