About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be a more interesting person

ABOUT ME

I really like Harry Potter. I'm kind of shy, yet I love to talk. I'm fresh out of college and ready to try new things and open up my awareness and understanding of different philosophies and lifestyles. I want to get to know people beneath the surface.

PHILOSOPHY

To be helpful and considerate to everybody I meet. Karma does go around, so we should treat each other better.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: starting to get into old school rock/punk (the Beatles, the Stones, the Runaways, Patti Smith, Bob Dylan), "emo" stuff (Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is, Panic at the Disco, Blink 182, Green Day), classical (Mozart's Symphony in G Minor basically saved my life during finals week), I'm open to recommendations, though -- having not been born in the U.S. I'm lacking in a lot

Books: Harry Potter (obviously), Lord of the Rings, Then We Came to the End, White Noise, Shakespeare (I like the sonnets, but currently my favorite play is As You Like It), Arabian Nights, Peter Pan, Don Quixote, The Namesake, Everything is Illuminated, I Capture the Castle, Pride and Prejudice, Atonement

Movies: Harry Potter (okay, the movies aren't as good, but I did like Alfonso Cuarón's Prisoner of Azkaban), Lord of the Rings (the first was my favorite), Pride and Prejudice (the BBC one with Colin Firth, of course), Bridget Jones' Diary, The Sound of Music, Moulin Rouge, 10 Things I Hate About You, Little Miss Sunshine, Superbad, Eurotrip, Harold and Kumar
