get the new website and blog up before i leave for film project in france,belgium,netherlands...then to glasgow for no reason other than i want to go there

ABOUT ME

anarcho-d.i.y. kinda person.
love to travel and meet new people.
live in montreal, canada. about 1/2 time and work for munny as a steadicam op. another one about memory and loss as seen in the eyes and faces of people in rust belt upstate new york where i live when not in montreal: we drive around the landscape, find ruins, talk to people about what they remember about them (or don`t remember)so its more about the way people are with that than about documenting rural wreckage.
the update as of now (may 22 2010) is work on the new "small farmer" film: more portrait of the life rather than a talking-head type doc.
leaving for that in a week!

PHILOSOPHY

i think change and good works come when people are left alone (by "authorities") and not from the "top down" and i do what i can to foment/support that.

i like to help people make things happen. in a communard sort of way.moved out of my huge, crammed live/work space (nightmare!) into a roommate situation a year ago now.

we have hosted a few folks and its been great. also did my first surfing...being hosted by some fab people in managua, nicaragua. i think we will be friends for life.
