Be happy... learn...
ABOUT ME
Nothing ever shocks me.
I moved a lot growing up, which undoubtedly contributed to an incurable condition known as "itchy feet"...Prognosis for overcoming itchy feet? Bleak.
I am many things...but generally pretty easy going. I love languages, traveling, beautiful people, crazy stories, passion, subtitled movies, camping, being open, red wine, wit, dogs, snow, my passport, the ocean, severe thunderstorms, mountains, beer, peace, dark chocolate, live music, fresh fruit, energy, underdogs, bubble tea, random connections, Sunday brunch, carbs, the Ozarks, Nutella, etc...
PHILOSOPHY
We were all created from love. We are all connected, we are all one.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am open to sharing my space and love being welcomed into a new environment. Over the years, I've hosted a little (at times picking up emergency CSers at the Geneva train station/airport) and surfed a bit, but regularly attended a lot of the meetings while in Rotterdam. I also got to spend a bit of time supporting CS activities at Tailek's House in Bangkok.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first official CS experience was in Sweden in 2009 and it was wonderful wonderful wonderful.
Interests
Travel, live music, swimming, international health and development. Camping outside under the stars. Stories. Movies. Love. Taking naps. Baking something yummy in my kitchen.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love watching films...particularly more independent ones. A couple favorites are Donnie Darko and Everything Is Illuminated. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Royal Tenenbaums. Amelie. Once. Goodbye Lenin.I listen to a variety of music...from indie to ambient to electronic. I've been to a lot of concerts over the years and spent the summer of 2011 as the tour manager for a bluegrass band. As far as books go, I'd rather listen to one on my phone than read one because I am too squirrely. I love The Wisdom of Whores, about the international response to AIDS.
