About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a chronic over-scheduler. I am always doing something. I am constantly applying for grants, opportunities or jobs (these days at least). On the other hand, I am constantly sleeping on tired days. I love cooking good meals, and sharing them. I love red wine. My favorite drink is a gin and tonic, because I love good times. I like to read and I constantly feel that the amount of reading I want to consume is way beyond my capacity to ever catch up. I love cheese. I used to be a vegan though. I ride bikes and they are my main transportation. I run a youth cycling program and teach kids how to ride safely, have a good time and fix up bikes. I used to run, but my lifestyle has shifted from marathon runner to "likes to keep horizontal". I used to paint a lot and I spend more time making digital art through Photoshop and Premiere Pro instead. I have three sisters and one brother. I love spending time with them, but I live at least 5 hours from the closest sibling. I tend to be friends with people from all different subcultures and I like it that way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy showing people around and learning new ideas and perspectives. It's incredible to meet someone who has lived an entirely different lifestyle and world than yourself. I am currently traveling and I know I will gain something out of each experience. Back in Pittsburgh, I host guests all the time and I love doing so!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In addition to CS, I often host friends of friends who will stay with me for a few days or I will meet some traveling kids and host them. I love showing people a good time and bringing them to good bars or good trails. I have encountered such kindness and generosity in my life, it is my duty to pay it forward.
