ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as a music loving Star Wars geek who can quote whole monologues from Pulp Fiction while eating heaps of chocolate.

I am a girl whose highest wish is to become a jedi knight and I wish I was a real hard core rock 'n roll star who kicked ass at playing the guitar :)

I recently moved to Glasgow as an Erasmus student. At home I'm studying to become a teacher in Swedish and English language and literature. In Glasgow I'm taking Celtic Civilisation, Scottish Literature and a theology course.

Glasgow seems like an awesome city and I would like to experience as much as possibly during my stay here, and hopefully meet some cool fellow members.

Have surfed at many couches and sometime in the future I wish to return the favour and host awesome surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Me and travel buddy Elisabeth have been couchsurfing all around Oceania, North and South America. And this is definitely the best way to meet new people and to see the world!

Interests

Wow, where to begin? I have so many interests and hobbies. I abolutely love listening to music, going to festivals and discover new bands, drinking beer in dark and smelly underground pubs with my friends, brewing my own beer, lying on the couch watching movies, lying on the couch watching crappy tv-series and lying on the couch doing absolutely nothing. I am a good chef and like to bake lots of gorgeous cakes. I know that you probably shouldn't list sleeping and eating as your favourite hobbies, but for me it really is :)

Every movie made by the mighty Quentin Tarantino. Fight Club, The Godfather, Almost Famous, Ice Age, The Notebook, Lock Stock, Rocknrolla, Rocky, The Big Lebowski etc. I absolutely love Monty Python, Flight of the Conchords, Entourage, Family Guy, The Simpsons, And obviously George Lucas masterpiece - Star Wars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Entering Rochester in Melbourne for the first time, snorkelling with sharks in the Ningaloo Reef, standing at the top of Marion's Lookout on Cradle Mountain, climbing Franz Josef glacier, watching the sunset fall over Ayers Rock, climbing the Villa Rica volcano in Chile or why not swimming with dolphins? All incredible things!
