About Me
CURRENT MISSION
We live in a big, beautiful world. Why not see all of it?
ABOUT ME
I'm an optimist, through and through, I love random fun, and nothing makes me more excited than trying new things and going new places. I love people with a spirit of flexibility and who live to get the most out of each moment, regardless of whether they are travelling abroad or in their own backyard.
I'm a farm girl from central Minnesota, I come from a family of six, and I love it. Somewhere along the line, the world became my neighborhood and I count myself incredibly lucky to have opportunities to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived and volunteered in China for a year right after college and I'm now forever bitten by that wonderful travel bug. I absorbed a lot of the language and culture there and I know I will never lose my craving for real Chinese food now! I made some great friendships there and I also had plenty of time to travel - trekking in the rainforest, visiting tiny ethnic villages, hiking down mountain gorges and checking out the Great Wall...all in all, unforgettable! I've been back to China three times since then, the most recent trip being this past summer 2009.
