About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To participate in experiences that will bring me ever closer to living life as my true self.
ABOUT ME
I am a lover of life. A free spirit for sure and generally have a genuine smile on my face.
Life is all about finding the things that make you happy, so I try to fill my days with those things- Music, people, and the like.
Still trying to figure out what to with myself in this world. I love to hula hoop and/or lay it out in the yard. I anxiously wait for football season to start each year. I spend the summer going to as many festivals as I can and I love the sense of community it brings. I attempt to spend the fall, winter and spring recovering and preparing to do it all over again, but somehow those seasons are getting just as packed.
I put all the energy and enthusiasm I can muster into any task I do. Aside from my family and friends, feeling like I'm positively impacting the world is of the utmost importance to me.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others as THEY want to be treated. Love each other and remember that people's actions are based on trying to find happiness and on occasion it may not be in line with our personal philosophies, but we have to cut people some slack. I try to remember that we are all in this together. The Four Agreements really speak to me and I strive toward the day when I'll fully live life according to them. (For reference.. 1) Don't take things personally. 2) Never assume. 3) Be impeccable with your word. 4) Always do your best.)

Music, Movies, and Books
Yes, yes and yes!
Movies: Across the Universe is currently my most favorite movie, but I love many.
Music: MUSE, Dave Matthews Band, Jeff Buckley, Daft Punk, The Glitch Mob, The Beatles, Ozomatli, Trammell Scruggs, Ani DiFranco, STS9, Brett Dennen, Bright Eyes, BLVD, Bassnectar, Beats Antique, Van Morrison, The Killers, Feist... Most music that came out of the last 60s and early 70s.
Books: The Little Prince, The Celestine Prophecy, Farenheit 451, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Loose Girl: A Memoir of Promiscuity, Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, In Defense of Food, White Oleander, The Alchemist, The Zahir, Veronika Decides to Die, (basically anything by Paulo Coehlo), and that list is ever increasing. I love to read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen: A double rainbow at Burning Man in 2007.
Done: Fallen in love. Love will never cease to amaze me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I feel confident I could teach you how to hula hoop, how to make some tasty vegetarian dishes, how to get the most out of Haight Street, and maybe how to call in sick to work if your evening's festivities roll over into the next day.
I would love to learn sign language, to learn more about Buddhism and to learn how to play the guitar.
I will share my heart and my mind as long as you ask nicely.
