ABOUT ME
Read everything below. Then, using your background knowledge, make an inference about my character. Be sure to cite important evidence from the text to support your answer.
PHILOSOPHY
Live simply so that others can simply live.
I believe in the balance of the universe.
I wonder about Pascal's Wager.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Though my roommate Haley and I haven't hosted in a few years, we are certainly willing to offer a couch or two to passersby. Our schedules are completely opposite (I'm schooling all day while Haley is working events all night), so there is usually someone home to hangout with! Haley and I love getting beers and finding great new local restaurants (they seem to pop up on a daily basis); we would be happy to share with you a little Columbus flair! :)
I haven't surfed in a while, mostly because I haven't traveled in ages. I'd like to stop obsessively worrying about money and responsibility and get back out on the road.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a few great people over the years and have only "surfed" once.
Interests
Right now my life is consumed almost entirely by lesson planning, grading, self medicating (wine, wine, wine!!).
So I have recently picked up running to help clear my head.
I also love to dance. Not in like a structured way. In more of a find-the beat-and-move-my-body kinda way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm currently listening to Kurt Vonnegut's The Sirens of Titan and reading The Alchemist and She's Come Undone. I'd highly recommend all three.
As far as movies are concerned... anything Wes Anderson or Quinten Tarantino.
Her is definitely the best movie I have seen in a while.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once made eye contact with Michael Phelps.
Also, Aracade Fire live... just wow.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: how to dance the "Nae Nae" (If you don't know what I'm taking about, then you're probably out of touch with today's early adolescent population!)
Learn: how to actually cook steak so it doesn't taste dry and horrible (...I just can't)
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, China, Mexico, Uruguay
Countries I’ve Lived In
